Privacy Policy for Kelvin Camera

This policy describes how the Kelvin Camera application for iPhone (the "App"), published by Heorhii Kozlovskyi, handles information. It applies to the App only, not to this website.

1. Data We Collect

None. The App has no user accounts, no analytics or advertising SDKs, no crash-reporting service of our own, and no backend servers. We do not collect, receive, store, sell, or share any personal information. The App makes no network requests to us.

2. Device Permissions and How They Are Used

Camera — required to capture photos. The video feed is processed entirely on your device (live preview, histogram, focus peaking, film simulation).

Photo library — used to save your captures and to display your most recent photo inside the App. The App reads only what is needed to show that thumbnail.

Location (optional) — if you enable "Save location," your position is embedded as standard GPS EXIF metadata in the photos you take, exactly like the built-in Camera app. The location goes only into your own photo files in your own library. You can decline the permission or turn the feature off in the App's settings at any time; the App works fully without it.

All processing — including film simulations, grain, and long exposure — happens on your device. No image data is ever uploaded anywhere by the App. The App contains no AI processing and no cloud features.

3. Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see your payment details. Apple provides us no personally identifying information about purchasers. Apple's handling of your data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Children

The App does not collect data from anyone, including children. It is rated 4+ and contains no third-party content, ads, or external links accessible during normal camera use.

5. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, and Similar Laws)

Because we do not collect or process personal data, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, delete, or port. If you believe otherwise, contact us and we will respond promptly. You will never be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights — there is nothing to exercise them against.

6. Data Retention and Security

Your photos and App settings exist only on your device (and in your personal iCloud Photos, if you use it — which is governed by Apple's terms, not ours). Deleting the App deletes its settings; your photos remain in your library.

7. Changes to This Policy

If the App's data practices ever change (for example, if we add opt-in crash reporting), we will update this policy, change the effective date above, and — for anything that involves collecting data — ask for your explicit consent in the App first.
